ABOUT ME

Jen Meller is a dynamic motion designer with a strong graphic arts background in illustration, photography, cinematography, directing and editing. Most recently, she served as a Senior Graphic Artist at Scripps News, where she contributed to the network’s 24/7 broadcast until its discontinuation in November 2024. During her 3 year tenure at Scripps Network, Jen was a key motion designer, consistently delivering over 30 graphics per week. Her expertise spans world-building, character animation, and cartography, including sophisticated work with geolayers. Right now, she’s excited about maps and character animation.

Jen holds a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Electronic Media (2016) and a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Arts (2011), both from American University. With over a decade of experience in motion graphics, Jen has worked with prestigious clients such as A+E, SWK Technologies, NPR, and TLC-VR. Her impressive portfolio also includes collaborations with the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, where she worked on projects featuring renowned artists like Ai Weiwei, Yayoi Kusama, Cristina Iglesias, and Carlos Cruz-Diez.

When she’s not immersed in the world of motion design, Jen is likely honing her pizza-making skills, in post-production on a short film, or planning her next international adventure.
